Tech, Money and Blog Attack v2

It’s been a great weekend with a lot of things going on in the blogosphere. Here are a summary of blogs that I have been following and topics that I found very interesting. I know you will enjoy them.

  • Yugatech confirms SERPs penalty for link sellers. It seems, Google has announced an official statement regarding selling link juice and it’s finally official.
  • Pinoy Money talk reveals how you can earn money with paypal. It’s a very good opportunity to take advantage of.
  • Marghil shares his different point of view on blogging intervals and advices to blog as often as you can. He made it clear that this depends on what your blogging goal is, do check it out.
  • Teejay talks about the importance of branding and shares 4 branding tips for your business. It’s a very helpful article especially for those that are venturing to offline business.
  • Charles warns us of a paypal phishing scam and how firefox can greatly increase your security. I suggest switching to firefox as soon as you can, IE just plain sucks.
  • Brown Baron unveils 13 awesome visual styles for windows xp. Personally my desktop is getting a little boring so I have considered changing to some of the awesome visual styles in the list.
  • The Manila Freelancer shares 4 top blog networks that you can join in order to open more blogging opportunities. It is a good idea to join a blog network but just be sure that you can keep up with the pace.
  • Jaypee found an awesome wordpress plugin maker. Be sure to check it out especially for developers looking into wordpress plugins.
  • Nspeaks shares his experience with spammy wordpress themes and sites. Be careful when installing these kind of themes, and always check the footer for hidden links.
  • Allen talks about the future of wordpress and the soon to be released wordpress 2.4. It’ll be interesting to see what new updates the wordpress community have in store for us.
  • Dexter talks about post being included in the google supplemental index. This information is important especially if you want your site to rank higher SERP.

Do you want your blog to be featured too? Just comment on this post and I’ll visit your blog. I’m always on the look out for new and interesting blogs to read. It just might be yours!

Before you read more of my articles, you might want to subscribe to my awesome RSS feeds. Chill out and enjoy your weekend. :D

Hey McBilly, thanks for the link. Yuga’s post is very alarming. I guess we have to follow Big G or else our SERP’s will suffer. It’s just sad to know. But hey, it’s not too late to follow Big G’s crusade. :)

It sure is Charles. I guess we don’t have much choice but to follow Google’s commandments, or else lose your search engine traffic flow. A lot of sites have submitted to the almighty Google, time for the rest to follow the lead.

thanks for the link! re: yuga’s post, selling links nga ako, wala namang bumibili, ipenalize kaya ako ng Google? hehe. i’ll remove na my inventory on TLA. hanggang affiliate na lang siguro nila ako. Google Adsense na lang pagkakaperahan ko. :)

You’ve earned it Marhgil. Regarding the link selling. You don’t really have any problems with that, right? With Adsense, WidgetBucks and Kontera running on your site, it’s really no biggie. Hehe. :D

I hope I could say the same for my site. Haha.
