I’ve seen a lot of blogs doing heavy promotions but not really sustaining the temporary increase of traffic. I feel that they are wasting their time promoting something that is not worth to be promoted.

If you do a promotion, that means a temporary boost of traffic, the trick is how to convert those newcomers to your loyal readers.

Popularity: 17% [?]

People read to gain facts, information, opinions or different point of views. Well, at least I do. It really doesn’t help me when I read articles that reviews a product and doesn’t even have a firm conviction of their own. After reading reviews like these, I feel no value in the contents.

You Cannot Please Everybody So Don’t Even Try

It’s a fact of life. You just cannot please everybody, so don’t even try. That doesn’t mean to pick a fight but it is better to stand up for your own convictions. We are different persons and each of us have their own point of views.

Your Opinion is as Good as Mine

Although others with more experience are more likely to have better opinions, it is not always the case. Sometimes their reputation or their being branded as an expert can be their own destruction. So, let us always keep an open mind.

Do not confuse this with being hardheaded. Sometimes our opinions are correct base on our limited source of information, until other information arises. My point is just to be open minded and respect opinions of other people even that of novices.
