Refreshing flash movie with a unique approach on animation and story telling. I love the simplicity of the movie. Actually this movie depends on the person watching it. Some people might like the style, some might not. I do. I even made a flash movie just like this one for a girl. I may share it next time.

The graphics and animation was detailed enough to add class to it’s simplicity. The only thing I would have concern about is the abstract story telling. I love the concept but there were times I didn’t understand what was happening. But then again, love is blind. And the story is what you see it to be.

Great music too. It adds to the emotional theme of this movie.

An awesome flash that stars Pico! This flash is great for Newgrounds Fans because Pico travels into different flash submissions in a Scary Movie concept.

The graphics and animation is exceptional. Pico is drawn and animated differently depending on what flash movie he visits. It’s fun to see Pico travel different submissions, especially if you are familiar with flash submission. But honestly, I don’t know some of the flash submissions he visits. But still the whole flash is great and funny.

Sounds are awesome. Changes the mood depending on what place Pico is in. And the voice acting is exceptional. An absolutely great movie for Newgrounds Fans. But for those who are new to Newgrounds, I would not suggest this movie because you will not understand it.

Title: Operation Gi-go: File 2

First of all, this flash is a part 2 story of a series and I suggest you watch the first movie before watching this one. A side note, this flash has extreme violence and not for the faint hearted.

On with the review, the movie has awesome graphics. You can see that a lot of detail has been put in creating the characters, the environment and the objects. (Even the camera was awesome) Great detail on lights and shadows. The animation on the other hand has some minor flaws. Don’t get me wrong, I love the fight scenes. But there were instances when I thought the animation was kind of too slow for me. Instances where you are expecting movements or actions but it is delayed. But overall, the animation was still great.

The story actually has a plot. Unlike many other flash movies where authors just throw in random animations. lol. Sci-fi action with twist and turns. It’s not yet finished though so you have to wait for the next episode.

Music is good. Great detailed sound effects. I specifically noticed this because a lot of other flash artist out there don’t mind the little details. And quite frankly, the little details makes all the difference. Overall, the audio was exceptional.

Title: A Pokemon Battle Flash

Great animation, and hilarious. Two basic elements of any good flash animations.

I love the way the characters are drawn here. Although they do not have arms and legs, they work out fine because of the cartoonish animation. But I suggest the author add more accents on the background next time. I find the place pretty empty with just an open field and a KFC restaurant in the middle. But other than that, the background is good.

Awesome choice of characters, hilarious! Nothing beats a classic Chuck Norris in a Pokemon Battle. Although the author should try adding battle animations next time. Also, some of the characters might offend other people. But come to think of it, it’s the internet anyway. >:)

Lastly, the music is perfect! Fits perfectly with the animation and feel of the flash.

I’ve been thinking of a way to get my website rolling and what better way than to make a tribute drive to my favorite flash website, Newgrounds! A free NG flash review drive as you might call it. I don’t think it’s been done before so I’m very excited to see how this turns out.

For the next 1 week, I’m going to give exclusive reviews on your flash works. Each review will not be less than 200 words. It may either be positive or negative. I will make a constructive review so that you may also improve your work.

I’m not doing this to compete with Newgrounds! I know NG has it’s own review system, but I think people would be glad to have another website review their flash work. Some extra exposure could go a long way.
