Get Paid for Embedding Free Videos on Your Site
The one rule in earning revenues online is always “Never put all your eggs into one basket”. It’s better to earn from multiple income streams, right? Right! Especially with this new site in town.

I recently stumbled upon The News Room site that pays you to embed videos or mash news contents on your website. Isn’t that cool?!
Of course, it would depend on what kind of videos they provide, and in my opinion, they provide useful videos that range from news, technologies, science to entertainment. And the process is very easy. You just log in to your account, browse the video or content you want to embed to your site and hit the mash button. It will then provide you with codes that you just copy and paste into your site.
Here’s an example of what a mashed video would looked like:
You can also mash a single video if you have limited space or is talking about a specific subject. There are advertising shown in the mashed videos and that’s where we share the revenues. Also, you can earn revenues from your referred site. Here is a rundown on how much you can earn.

Pretty awesome right? And best of all, it’s free. Register at The News Room now to start mashing your own videos and start earning revenues from your site.

Thanks John. You might want to register now while it’s new and start mashing your own videos.
Anyways, I’ll keep you posted. Cheers.
I just signed up for it…take a look at the video I just posted on my front page about the united computer glitch…it is actually a pretty cool thing…

I joined there too, the only thing I can’t understand is where we can see any earnings… That member area is not easy to use lol…
Hi Inga.
Yeah, I agree that the members area is not easy to use and it takes some time getting use to. I have contacted their support and they sent me an email saying they are doing it manually.
I’m not sure what it means. But as a new website, I think they are still making a lot of beta testings and updates.
I’m sure this will continue to improve and by that time, we’ve already joined and will be making a suitable amount of income.
Cheers.
Oh! Thank you for the info. Well, then let’s just wait and see what happens. Some stats in members area would be really nice thing
Yeah. I know what you mean. We’ll just see.
I checked out your site. Very informative. I bookmarked it.
If you want, you can subscribe to my feed too. Cheers.
Cool find, I’m doing my playlist now!

Hey Billy!
Have you heard anything else from support about the earning thing? I don’t see any change in views of my video for the past 5 days. I know it has been played a couple more times? Any ideas?
Hi john. They havn’t responded to my email yet. But If you login to your thenewsroom account, you’ll see a new button: Revenues. You can keep track of your earnings there.
I’ll keep you posted if ever I find something new. Cheers.
Hey Billy! How are you doing today? Here is an email I got back from thenewsroom explaining the myrevenue page..it may explain a few things…
Hello John,
Thank you for taking the time to write TheNewsRoom.
We understand your confusion with your revenue numbers and are happy to
explain. It’s pretty tricky to correlate your site’s stats with stats on
our players. While your site logs a certain number of impressions, this
number will not reflect plays - either by a visitor clicking “play” or
from the auto-play feature - of video content.
CPM is a standard advertising term that refers to cost per thousand,
meaning you’ll be paid either $4 or $1 for every thousand plays.
The numbers should track fairly closely for our image and text content,
but for video, you may have 100,000 hits or impressions but 365 views.
We pay on views of the video, not simply views of the page or render of
the player. In the case of a text or image, you get paid when someone
simply views your site, but with videos, the video must be played. We
hope this helps!
If you have any other questions or comments, please keep them coming.
People like you - our early adopters - will help shape this service and
our community. We value your input more than you can imagine and
appreciate you trying us out.
I’m doing good man. I had a very enjoyable day yesterday because of what happened in school.
How about you?
Thanks for sharing the information man. I think with that kind of payment system, it would be better to mash pictures than videos, right?
oh btw…what plugin for wordpress do you use to put the pictures up next to comments? I have tried a couple and I can’t get it work out right like it is above……
About the plugins for the pictures. I’m using MyAvatars. Download it here. After you activate it, you just have to edit your comments template to add the myavatars code. Hope this works for you. If you have more problems, let me know so we can sort things out. Cheers John.
Actually..thats what it sounds like to me! The pictures and feeds sound like it would be better payment on your site…but…i think the videos add a lot more than just plain text to your site..personally I love watching the video than just reading the text….
Also..i got the myavatar to work…but if someone doesn’t have a myblog account..it comes up with MyAvatar 0.2a with a link..how can I get that to go away and just put up a picture with a blank person like you have above?
Yeah. The videos are more attractive. I guess we’ll just have to balance them out. About your MyAvatars, Great. That’s already good. My plugins work the same way. The picture you see with a blank person is a registered person to mybloglog, only he didn’t upload his own picture. Cheers John.
darn! no way to change the MyAvatars 0.2a to a picture if they don’t have a mybloglog account? I wish there was! oh well…
Have a good night! Aloha!
Haha. That’s alright. Maybe in the coming updates of the plugins they’ll have an option to change it.. Have a good night as well John. Cheers.
Hi!
I think, I have to say, you’re an ANGEL!
Thanks for the info… I saw ’bout this at the BC discussion…I find your suggestion interesting to me… so I registered an account with it. Now, I’m keeping track of my reveneus… I guess this is faster than adsense…
