Hey guys. I’m already in Manila and I’m pretty excited for the show. Anyway, I was interviewed in GMA7 Jessica Soho regarding low waist pants and underwear fashion. They will also feature the Bench Blackout fashion show. The episode will be aired this Saturday July 26, 2008 at 9PM.

At Gateway with My High School Best Friend

After our rehearsals the the other day, I met with my high school best friend Jonathan in Gateway. It’s been several years since we hanged out. Haha. Next time hampang ta Tekken 6 match Jo. Haha.

The UP Grand Centennial fashion show last night was a big success. We went home past midnight since we partied a little bit after the show. I meant to post this last night but fell asleep while uploading the pictures. Haha.

The fashion show was the last segment so we had time to do picture taking in the backstage. This is me with Donald and Sir Danny Booc. I think during this time, Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia is having her speech about her UP days.

Closing ceremony. After our last catwalk parade, we were finally done. We went and changed at the backstage and had our dinner. Good thing it was a buffet so we still had food left for us. Hehe.

I enjoyed the show very much. Most of all, I’m very happy to be given a pair of designer pants from OJ Hofer. Many thanks sir OJ!

UP is having its grand centennial homecoming celebration and all the famous designers here in Cebu will have a grand fashion show in Cebu International Convention Center.

I just got home from the rehearsals and I have to say that the show is definitely worth watching. I love the designer clothes, so very classy and the production of the whole event is really awesome.

Guys, I’ll be going to manila next next week for the Bench Blackout fashion show and I’ll only be staying for around a week. I want to take the opportunity to have a little EB para naman magkita naman tayo!

I’ve talked with several and we decided the best place to have it is in SM Megamall so that it won’t be too far if you’re either coming from the north or from the south. Plus it’s easily accessible using MRT.

Giving Away One Bench Blackout Invitation

Just to make things more juicy. I’m gonna give away one Bench Blackout invitation to the fashion show which you can exchange for a ticket during the said event. The event is on July 25, 2008 and will start 7pm.

All you have to do is blog about this mini-EB with a link to this post. So that more bloggers will know about our little SM Megamall escapade. Hopefully, more will come para the more the merrier! Haha

I just upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress tagged Tyner. It has several major new features and fixes around 194 bugs. Download Wordpress 2.6 now.

One of the new major feature I like is the Wikipedia-like tracking of edits where you can see all your modifications arranged base on time and date. You can also compare one another to see which modifications to your post you like best.

It also has a new word count feature. Pretty cool I might say.

The Bench fashion show is actually very special because it only happens every two years, and of course, because it involves the big names and who’s who of the Philippine showbiz industry and the Philippine modeling world.

Some of the stars include Richard Gomez with wife Lucy Torres, Richard Gutierrez, Wendell Ramos, Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes, John Lloyd Cruz and Kim Chiu with Gerald Anderson.

Bench Blackout Underwear and Denim Fashion Show

When: 7pm on July 25, 2008
Where: Araneta Coliseum
How: Free Invite from Bench Stores

You can get free invites in the event to watch the hot and sexy who’s who in the country. Here are the guidelines and details how:

1. For every single receipt purchase worth of Bench or Herbench items (excluding Bench Time and sale items) that includes Bench Body underwear or Overhauled / OJ denim, a customer is entitled to a corresponding invitation to the Bench Underwear show:

Every P500 single receipt purchase = 1 General Admission Invitation
Every P800 single receipt purchase = 1 Upper Box B Invitation
Every P1,500 single receipt purchase = 1 Upper Box A Invitation

2. A maximum number of 3 invites per single receipt is allowed, and combinations of invites are allowed.

3. Invitations will be given outright at the counter.

4. Valid only for cash and credit card transactions.

5. Invitations are transferable but not convertible to cash.

6. Bench/ Suyen Corporation and Araneta Coliseum reserve the right to deny entry if ticket bearer is proven to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or displaying misbehavior.

The country’s most influential band ever, The Eraserheads, will be reunited to play after 5 long years of silence. The reunion concert will be held at CCP Complex Grounds, Pasay City on August 30, 2008. I just couldn’t pass this up!

Yup! You read it right. Tickets will be free and can be downloaded early August. The website will be announced so stay tuned!

All four of the original band members namely Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan will be there to sing their hit songs. Eheads is actually one of my favorite bands and I love many of their songs including “Pare Ko”, “Ligaya” and “Ang Huling El Bimbo”.

It was disclosed in the Eheads yahoogroups that each of them were paid P10 Million pesos to do a full 45-minute set. Wow! That is a lot of money! The concert is sponsored by Marlboro.

I’m pretty pumped up for this awesome concert. What do you guys think?

Google recently announced a new online 3D social arena called Lively that takes a bit of inspiration from Second Life. Lively is also an online 3D social world but lives in your browser.

Instead of installing a client in your computer, you just need to install some plugins to get the app to work in your browser. Currently, it supports only Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Basically, its like a 3D chat room where you can design your environments, edit designs and add extra furnitures. The big difference of Second Life over Lively is that Second Life is on one single world where all of you get to interact with one another.

Lively on the other hand is separated into different rooms so you and your friend need to be in the same room to interact with one another.

I tried installing Lively and it wasn’t that large. Only it was a bit slow when running the app in my browser.

Anyway, I think it’s pretty cool. What do you think?
