Manny Pacquiao Wins over Golden Boy De La Hoya
The Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya Results are in! And Manny has demolished The Golden Boy De La Hoya in Round 8 with a TKO victory. A great great victory for Manny Pacquiao that brings honor to the Philippines. =]
Manny won the fight with his speed and boxing techniques in which De La Hoya just couldn’t match up. The 35 year old Golden Boy must have realized that it is already beyond his time when he threw in the towel and surrendered the match. I watched the match live and seriously, Manny Pacquiao is freaking fast! De La Hoya just couldn’t react to his punches.
Lastly, I think De La Hoya didn’t continue to the 9th round because it wasn’t a title match to begin with. It would have been more humiliating if he lost with a knock down. And I personally think, if he continued on, Pacquiao would have knocked him out. =]

Regardless of what people say about the match being a mismatch or that DLH didn’t fight well, I’m glad Manny won. Why? To prove to all those pricks who said that DLH is too big and too strong for Pacquiao and that DLH was gonna win or KO Manny. DLH is no longer the Golden Boy, Manny turned him into Black and Blue Boy.
IMO, DLH was in it just for the money. Imagine he got double of what Manny gets? It sucks for all those who paid for tickets to watch the fight live in Vegas and to those who got PPV only to see DLH just quit. I’m sure they all felt cheated. Buti na lang nakinuod lang ako sa pinsan ko, kung hindi sayang din ang $54 na PPV.

You were absolutely right!, the world stood still, no crime rate were posted by PNP. Everybody was disappointed by the way Dela Hoya handled the fight, let’s admit it, it could have been more exciting if he gave what the people wants..but it only means that he has aged already compared with Pacman. But nevertheless, Pacman was a blast yesterday, you can really see his passion for boxing and main thing I’ve noticed throughout his fight he really is a soul boxer…He never intends to take advantage to any point when he’s opponent is having a hard time with his punches =] nor being “traydor” to his rival.

yah it wasnt fun watching it. wasnt the fight everyone expected. so glad pacquiao won. i’ve seen how de la hoya fought on his previous fights but i wasn’t seeing the dela hoya, people used to bank on on that fight with manny…and yeah i think thats bobby on the picture
This is really a great fight….Dela hoya is just too old and too slow for Manny’s power and speed…Pero parang duguan din si Manny sa laban nato …..Parang dumugo ilong ni manny eh…dinugo si Manny sa kakainglis aray….”you Know”…Parang mga suntok ni mike tyson at George Foreman yung mga binatong tanong kay manny…hehhehe biro lang baka may mag react…Im still with People’s Champ fighting spirit ..this man Fight with his heart no one can’t beat …Kaya balato manny laki naman heart mo eh …weeeee Go Manny Go for Hatton wag muna si Mayweather….Okay game Lets go back to our Nation’s Problem naman….Go Gloria sana kayanin mo pa sa 2010….
