Happy Valentines!

Belated Happy Happy Valentines guys! I’m sorry I wasn’t able to join you here during February 14. But do know that deep in my heart I was also sharing my valentines with you guys here. ;) My Valentines was the best valentines ever! Heres why.

The Element of Surprise

Whatever you’re doing for a girl or for your partner, the best and most memorable event or thing that she will remember is something that she did not expect. So always go for the element of surprise.

Last year, I’ve already surprised her by going to their house unexpectedly (we weren’t close then so she really didn’t expect anything). I brought a blue rose which was her favorite color, then spent the night under the stars on their terrace. She was surprised, it was great and perfect!

This time, she will be expecting something, so I had to do something about it. Haha.

I told her that I was short on cash this valentines but still want to spend the night with her over a simple dinner. I fetched her around 7pm and brought her to Handuraw Italian Pizza and Pasta restaurant. It was great, I kept everything simple. No gifts, no flowers whatsoever, just dinner.

After our romantic dinner, I drove her home. When we reached their house, I parked the car in front and as she was thanking me for the wonderful night, I opened our mini-TV installed in the car and played a personalized music video I made for her. The music I used was My Valentine by Martina Mcbride and Jim Brickman. As the video finished and fades out, I grab the flowers I was hiding in the car and gave it to her with matching Happy Valentines, I love you words.

It was so effective, she even cried tears of joy. Hehe. Anyway, I had the greatest Valentines ever. How about you guys? How was your Valentines?

Where Were You Buddy?

Coca Cola New Product Launching

If you guys were wondering where I was during my short hiatus, I was busy hitting the gym for a product launching for Coca Cola. There was a 3 day event here in Cebu for the Visayas-Mindanao product launching for a new Coca-Cola product. I’m sure you’ve noticed new teaser commercials for a new Coke product in television, right? Well, that was it.

I’d love to post more pictures but since the new product isn’t still available in the market, they still want to keep it as a secret. Hehe. The 3 day event was great, we had unlimited cokes. Haha. Our costume was awesome too, (parang Jake Cuenca in Palos). Haha. Astig ba? :D

Valentines in the Blogosphere

I’d like to end this post with Valentine related posts in the blogosphere that I found touching or interesting.

Hope you enjoyed your Valentines guys. I would love to hear your valentine experiences too! :D

Got stuck in traffic sa SLEx kaya ginabi ako. We just watched Amazing Race — talo ang Team Pinas :( — then we had food delivered at her place.

Wow! That’s a nice valentine’s surprise… for me, I spent my valentines at home because I suddenly became sick (super headache). How pathetic of me. haha :P

I’m sure your girlfriend was both very surprised and happy last Valentine’s Day. I agree, the element of surprise will make even simple gifts more meaningful and special.

Those costumes look very cool. MIB - Men in Black. Hehe :D

I also did something similar myself. I didn’t mention anything to my wife about Valentine’s Day. I waited until she got home from work, when she was about to go to sleep I brought out the Valentine’s card and Ghirardelli chocolates which came in a heart-shaped container. She was also surprised and very happy to receive it. :D

Btw, thanks for the mention and the link love!

That’s so sweet as well Jaypee! In your case both metaphorically and literally! Hehehe. I’m sure you’re wife loved it. :D

Thanks a lot for the compliments! Our costumes really rocked. Too bad they didn’t give it away. It would have been cool to use in costume parties. Hehe. ;)

So the Coca Cola product launching that you participated in is Coke Zero? I thought it was already available in the Philippines because it’s been available here in the US for a long time now.:)

Yup. That was what a Canadian told me too. He said its already been available for years in his country. I don’t know why it was just launched recently here in the Phils. Coke zero commercials are just airing locally. Hehe. :D
