Kung Hei Fat Choi! Kiong Hee Huat Tsai! Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year

To all my Chinese readers and freinds, Kung Hei Fat Choi! Kiong Hee Huat Tsai! May you have a happy and prosperous new year ahead! :D

My whole family is Chinese and we celebrate this event by eating tikoy and Chinese Moon Cakes. Oh, I just love mooncakes! Hehe. Have you ever tried eating one? If not, you should because they’re really tasty!

Chinese new year also means a lot of fireworks and explosives especially for Chinese business owners. The explosives are signs of good luck and prosperity since the constant noise will drive bad luck out of the businesses.

I know a lot of Filipinos who celebrate Chinese new year even if they only have a small percent of Chinese blood, while I know know several Chinese who doesn’t celebrate this festivity. How about you guys, do you celebrate Chinese new year? :D

Hi, I like your blogs and your site. Malinis at di magulo basahin.
But FYI regarding Chinese New Year, we serve tikoy during Chinese New Year and Moon Cake during Moon Cake Festival which is during 10th day in the 10th month of the lunar calendar.
But your right tikoy and moon cakes are delicious! :-)
