Repair and Fix Font Folder to Install New Fonts

I was designing a logo for a new company yesterday and needed to install some new fonts. I managed to find some fonts I liked but when installing the fonts, I experienced some errors. My font folder started to act like a regular folder and lost it’s install new font feature.

How to Install New Fonts

  • Download the new fonts and extract to your computer
  • Copy and paste the fonts to your C:\Windows\Fonts

After copying you will get a prompt asking you to install the new font. Click yes and you’re done.

What I experienced yesterday was my font folder lost it’s install this font capability. Basically, it acted as a regular folder where I pasted the new fonts.

    I had a little trouble installing fonts in my Vista a few months back, but I figured it out after a few tries so OK na sya. :)

    hrrmmm.. i never experienced this situation on my lappy.. but if ever this situation happens to me.. I’ll know where to look.. thanks for the info.

    Hey Guys,
    I had font installing problem and stumble upon this site through google.

    Fix Font Finder contain Virus !!!
    but the other Teak UI did help . so just be aware about the first link

    I was looking to buy a laptop computer table for the refurbished laptop computer in my home but I’m realizing that I can get significantly better prices online instead of making the trip to the local Staples, in many instances 50%-70% cheaper.
