Start Your 2008 with the Right Bang!

Another year has passed and a new one unfolds. I’m very excited to see what new events and stories will happen in 2008. Before going to the new year, I think it’s best if we start with the right bang!

Create Goals both Long Term and Short Term

Even if you are the best soccer player in the world, you can’t shoot if you don’t know where to aim. That’s how important goals are in soccer and in real life. You need to start the new year with a direction of where you want to go.

Believe me, get a piece of paper (or open up notepad) and start writing your goals and objectives this year!

Reflect on the Past, Learn from Experience

One of common things people do in the new year is to create a new year resolution list. I’m not really big on the list but I agree on reflecting on your past experiences and improving on oneself. Aside from goal setting, write down things you want to improve on.

Self-improvement is a long term and never ending activity, it’s great to see how well we have grown and what areas of ourselves need more improvements.
