Fix Error 1531: Too few clusters (EA3905FB)

Got mixed up with another computer problem. Sorry for not being able to update that much. I recently used Partition Magic pro to partition my existing hard drives but encountered a major error. The message reads “Error 1531: Too few clusters (EA3905FB)“.

This really got me scared because I had a lot of important files and wasn’t able to back up properly. I did a little research on how to fix the error 1531 and found this information. This error is also possible with other programs aside from the Partition Magic Pro I used.

Other Programs / Softwares that causes the problem:
- PartitionMagic
- PartitionMagic Pro
- Drive Image
- Drive Image Pro
- DriveCopy
- VolumeManager
- ServerMagic

How to Fix the Problem:
- Go to start.
- Select Run.
- Type “cmd” to go to the command line.
- Type “CHKDSK /F” and press enter.
(There will be a question after)
- Press the button “Y” for Yes.
- Type “exit”
- Restart your computer.

This will run the check disk feature of Windows and repair the broken / missing files in your operating system.

Some people have complained it takes too long. It really depends on how patient you are, but if you’re like me, I decided to reformatted my laptop. It was getting a bit cluttered anyway.

Of course, I did an extensive backup first before reformatting it. :)
