Gmail Gets Bigger and Badder

Good news to GMail users! Aside from the whopping 2GB+ (almost 3GB) storage from gmail, Google has announced an increase in their counter and will be giving out more free storage.
Googlified calculates:
2912MB by October 11, 2007 midnight Google time
4.2GB by the 23rd this month
6GB by January 4th next year
42GB by the year of 2038
Actually, I haven’t consumed even a quarter of the storage space I have on my gmail account, and now they want to increase my free storage. Cool! Why argue when they’re giving it for free right? ![]()

hot d@mn!!… that’s a lot of storage space…
we need to send out and receive tons and tons of emails to able to fill this one up… (what in about 1 year or 2 years)
Heck as long as it’s free.. Who’s arguing.. I know I’m not…
Using Gmail as an online storage would be much fun now… because of the increased storage capacity
Haha. You said it right Jaren. It’s going to take us forever to fill this one up. Using Gmail as an online storage is a great idea. If only GDrive existed, i won’t buy another harddisk ever again.
Actually theres a program that can turn your gmail account into a virtual drive. http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm
I’ve heard of this before. But there were speculations that it doesn’t work. Or it was still under beta stage.
I’ll check out the link and try it out. Thanks Brandon.
