YouTube Max Limit Increases to 1 Gig, Launches Multiple File Upload

YouTube Multi-Upload Look

Good news to all YouTube fans! You can now upload multiple videos per batch through YouTube’s Multiple Upload Page. All you need to do is install the YouTube uploader and start uploading like crazy.

But it doesn’t stop there. YouTube just increased the max file size limit of each video from 100mb to a whopping 1Gig! Talk about high quality videos! Hehe. The sad part is the max length of the videos remain at 10 minutes per video. I do hope they will increase the max length soon.

Nonetheless, the announcement of the YouTube Blog on the recent updates show how Google continuously improves on YouTube’s services. With the file size limit increased to 1Gig, expect more high quality videos on YouTube.

Nice nice. No more need to scale down high resolution videos.

Haha. I think they’re afraid to lengthen maximum time limit, some bad guys might upload movies.

;D

Anyway, do you have Yahoo or Google Talk account? If yes, just drop by my blog. I’d like to know you better. ;D

Ahaha. Good point! But isn’t that why we want to extend the maximum length in the first place? ;) Kidding. Kidding. Anyway, sure. I’ve been reading on your about page and several posts. I’ll send you my yahoo account.

This is quite a new development for YouTube. I just don’t like the file size limit :(

Really? Where are you getting at Teejay? :)

Actually, I’ve read several opinions on this and they said, with the growing number of video sites popping from left to right, YouTube wants to host the biggest collection of high quality videos on their servers.

Pretty good idea too. In the end, it’s still about the money.

Ahaha. I’ve seen that video lots of times. A lot of my friends watch it over and over again.

Actually, the video was awesome. And very viral too. Hehe. Also, at least the inmates have something to do in their unlimited free time. Haha.

Thanks for the update McBilly. Looks like videos are going to hit a new level. How are you using videos in your marketing plan? ;-)

I haven’t really used videos as a marketing plan yet. I will if I have a new project that needs the exposure.

My last video was an audition video for the next internet millionaire. You can see it at my About page.

How about you? Any new viral videos coming out? :)
