Ever wondered what the future will be like 10 years from now? Well, Microsoft has unveiled a video on what they envision the world to be in 2019. Watch the video for yourself.

The slick gadgets and next-generation technology shown in video does look like some 3-D special effects shown in sci-fi movies, but all of the concepts shown in the video are base on real life.

Some of the new technologies shown in the video were touch sensitive transparent walls, animated drawings, real time conversation translations, transparent displays, slick OS interfaces, touch screen newspaper, electronic wallet and more.

With multi-touch internet capable multimedia gadgets like the iPhone 3G and eBook reader Amazon Kindle available in the market today, I think some of the concepts shown in the video can be attainable within the next 10 years.

My favorite would be the touch screen newspaper and the digital wallet. They look so cool! :D

What do you think? What was your favorite gadget?

2019? In pa rin kaya ang microsoft nian? o baka me papalit na? I remember mas una kong nakilala ang yahoo years back pero google became the king of the search engines. …

  2. That’s awesome! I like the digital newspaper as well as the digital wallet. With the digital wallet you don’t need to carry cash or card just the gadget itself.

personally, I find touchscreens sometimes rather painful to the fingers, sometimes, buttons are still more comfortable.. Anyway, the whole hand swiping thing was awesome though

  4. Hmmmm…I think I wish that would happen this 2019. It’s still just a speculation as of now but maybe Microsoft is trying its best to obtain that goal. It’s not impossible if they try to work hard which human technology can progress really fast if they work together.

  5. Naku, matagal tagal pa pala ang hihintayin natin para dito…

  6. All those videos promise great features that seem so innovative. And then the new product arrives and suddenly those couple nice features turn out to be the only working things about the wole product and suddenly it doesn’t seem so amazing as before. Excuse my scepticism but I won’t belive those ads until I see the final product.

I think they are already working on this. If this happen on the time that I am not old enough yet, I am more willing to be part of the new technology. I love to see my self teaching and demonstrating to my class utilizing this technology. Education will never be the same if this happens.

  8. miong says:

very promising. 10 years from now.

  9. I’m sure the technology is already available. I mean we all know that we’re at least 10-15 years behind military.

[0:22 - 0:23] very unethical… nice and cool video… I hope Microsoft releases all of these without bugs… LOL

  11. Извините за офф-топ, не подскажете, где мона такой же симпатичный шаблон для блога взять?
