Wordpress 2.6 Tyner Just Released
I just upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress tagged Tyner. It has several major new features and fixes around 194 bugs. Download Wordpress 2.6 now.
One of the new major feature I like is the Wikipedia-like tracking of edits where you can see all your modifications arranged base on time and date. You can also compare one another to see which modifications to your post you like best.
It also has a new word count feature. Pretty cool I might say.

which is the best way to upgrade ?
It’s actually very easy to upgrade mate. Took me around 5 minutes max. Just download the new version and follow these upgrade steps. Good luck!
The best fix I found was that it automatically updates your permalink (during post creation) when you edit your title. It’s quite handy for someone who changes his mind frequently about his post’s title like me XD.
Oh and they fixed the empty RSS feeds too.

I remember wordpress 2.2 in dec 2007,in june 08 it was 2.6 now we have may 08 and only 2.7.1 version. I think they prepare something special in 3.0 ver.
