The Cebu Bloggers Society was recently invited to have fun and experience Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort. Initially, I wasn’t too excited. I’ve been to Maribago Bluewaters before and it wasn’t too exciting. But when we did get to the event. I was amazed at how fast they expand and upgrade their infrastructures. The place was great.

They have 3 different swimming pools scattered around it’s 7 hectare property. Their main pool is the open for casual visitors and the other 2 pools are exclusive for in house customers. I personally enjoyed swimming there as their pool was heated which is perfect for night swimming.

Aside from the beautiful scenery, recreational and residential infrastructures, Maribago boasts it’s Amuma spa which incorporates ancient and modern therapies from Visayan-Filipino, Asian and western cultures. I wasn’t able to try it out so I can’t really say what’s different with the Amuma way.

Cebu Bloggers picture time. Haha. This was the perfect time for bonding with the CBS members. Wait. Make that CBS family. Haha. πŸ™‚

The buffet was pretty good as well. We were treated with their Barrio Fiesta Filipino Cuisine buffet with a 45 minute cultural presentation. The food was very good although I wasn’t able to enjoy everything because I just recently had braces installed. It’s really hard to eat. Haha. πŸ™‚

I liked the life size chess board on the white sands of the beach. It was pretty cool. Miong looks to have enjoyed it. Haha.

For those who know me personally, they know that I’m a beach person. I prefer water sports than nature trekking, so I loved the fact that they have a beautiful view from the beach. They even have a small man made island for those that want to have a special private wedding. Haha.

Actually, if my partner would agree, I want us to read our vows in a beach wedding. It’s so intimate and personal! Haha. πŸ™‚

Final Thoughts:

So after the tiring bonding but enjoyable experience, group picture before going home. Haha. Personally, I think Maribago Bluewater Cebu is going in the right direction with their high end designs and fast expansions. The design of their resort is up there. Mostly catering to international and asian markets.

I’d love to spend a couple of nights there myself, of course, with a special someone. Haha.

Lastly, thanks a bunch to Ruben Licera, the Maribago management and staff for the warm welcome. And of course, thanks a bunch to my CBS Family. I had a lot of Fun! And thanks for the pictures! Haha. Photo credits goes to Bryan, Clarence, Doyzkie, Karen, Mikyu and Tiborsho. Hope you enjoy it! πŸ™‚

Looking forward to our trip to Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort. Hopefully there will be a Maribago Bluewater Video to feature our trip. Visit sumilon bluewater blog for more details.
